Autumn 2015

We are learning about the 'Stone Age'

Stone Age Day

On Tuesday the pupils in Fountains travelled to the Moors Centre at Danby to experience a day in the Stone Ages. The class was split into trible’s and they spent the day learning how to build dens and camp fires. The day’s activities were linked to a book they have been studying in class ‘Stone Age Boy’. William said ‘the day was really good’ and Josh added ‘it was fun’.

We have done some work on Fountains Abbey to find out where the name of our class came from.
